DARLINGTON -- Lester D. Hole, 75, of Rt. 5, Crawfordsville, died Monday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was a retired farmer and a member of Youngs Chapel Christian Church and Darlington Christian Church. Born Aug. 20, 1901, at Youngs Chapel, he was a son of William and Lola Hughes Hole. He was married to Myrl Kirk on Dec. 24, 1923. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Esther) Krukewitt of Crawfordsville; a son, William K. of Crawfordsville, a brother, Raymond of Crawfordsville; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Burkhart Funeral Home, Darlington Chapel, with the Revs. Ronald Batts and Robert Kruka officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday. The family has requested that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.--waw
