DARLINGTON -- Bernard Hole, 61, of Rt. 5, Crawfordsville, died early this morning in St. Rita's Hospital at Lima, Ohio, after a sudden illness. He had been a farmer in the Darlington area all his life. Mr. Hole served on the township advisory board, was director of the Farmer's Merchant Bank at Darlington, and was director of the American Coon Hunters Association. He was graduated from Darlington High School. Born Aug. 29, 1914, in Montgomery County, he was a son of Jess and Mabel Cox Hole. He was married to Mary Peebles on Feb. 12, 1935, at Crawfordsville. Surviving with the widow are three sons, Gerald of Jamestown, Robert of Darlington and Gary at home; six grandchildren, Greg, Brian, Shelly and Alisa of Jamestown and Susana and Jennifer of Darlington: and a niece, Beverly Birch of Indianapolis. A sister, Dorothy Birch, is deceased. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Burkhart Funeral Home at Darlington with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday.--waw
