George Hoffa died February 9 at the home of Thomas Foster, near the schoolhouse in Longview. Mr. Hoffa had been suffering with the grip and was getting better until he had a relapse and rapidly grew worse until death came. His mother, Mrs. Jere Hoffa, who has been visiting her daughter in Kansas was summoned and arrived here just before his death. Mr. Hoffa was 48 years old and leaves several children. The funeral occurred at the home of Mr. Foster on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. HL Nave. Interment. was at the Masonic Cemetery - kbz

George Hoffa died Thursday night at the home of Thomas Foster in Longfield.  Grip was the destroyer.  Mr. Hoffa was 48 yeas old and leaves a family of orphan children. The funeral will take place Sunday at 2 o’clock conducted by Rev. HL Nave. Interment at Masonic Cemetery.
