Hodson - Forrest - WWI

Waynetown, Oct 22 - Forrest (sic - tombstone says Forest B) B. Hodson, 50 years old, overseas veteran of WWI and member of Memorial Post 188 of the American Legion in Hillsboro died Friday morning at the US veteran's Facility in Danville, Ill.  He had been in failing health three years and serious ill six months.

Mr. Hodson was a native of Parke County and was born July 15, 1893 the son of Ulysses G. and Margaret Bolton Hodson. He was married July 28, 1919 to Eva Baricklow in Crawofrdsville. Surviving are: the widow, a sister, Mrs. Vilet Hitchinson of Wingate; three nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Waynetown Baptist Church of which Mr. Hodson was a member with the Rev. Gary Albritton in charge.  Burial will be at Waynetown Masonic cemetery. - kz
