Earl William Hobson, (sic - Hodson) 60, of 1818 Michigan St., died at noon Friday in Culver Hospital, where he had been a patient two and a half weeks. A son of Bernard L. and Delina May Baker Hodson, he was born Dec. 30, 1907 at Carlos City, Ind. He was married Aug. 21, 1943 to Genevieve Staggs, who survives. Mr. Hodson was last employed at Calvary Cemetery. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Surviving besides his wife are two brothers, Clarence Keith Hodson of North Salem and Ernest Edward Hodson of Lafayette, and two sisters, Mrs. Bettie Bovia and Mrs. Joseph Pickel of Albany, N.Y. A brother, Thomas, is deceased. Funeral rites are at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard's Church with Rt. Msgr. Henry F. Ward officiating and burial in Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Sunday at Bright Funeral Home, where friends may call after 7 p. m. Saturday.
