Charles Hodgkin died at the home of his brother, Hugh, Hodgkin, on East Greene street, about six on Tuesday evening. He had been in his ordinary health and during the afternoon had walked up to the school building. Death resulted from cerebral hemorrhage. Hugh Hodgkin had started in the afternoon with two cars of cattle for Chicago. Word was gotten to him at Frankfort. Mr. Hodgkin was seventy-six years old, and was born near Frankfort. He taught school for a time, farmed, and for two terms was trustee of Union township. He has one son, Edward, who lives on his farm, northeast of town. Funeral services at the Russellville Christian Church were in charge of Rev. W.K. Kerr, of Crawfordsville. Burial at the Russellville Cemetery. - kbz
