Miss Mary Muriel Hobson, 73, a retired school teacher, died Wednesday morning in Glenmont Nursing Home at Columbus, Ohio. She had lived at Berring Springs, Mich., the past six years. Miss Hobson taught in the Indianapolis Public School System for 43 years before retiring in 1969. She was a member of the Christian Scientist Church. Born in Montgomery County, Oct. 24, 1902, she was a daughter of Frank and Ola Hobson. Surviving are a brother, Clarice of Rantoul, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Waldo Spreen and Mrs. Floyd Bone of Williams, and Mrs. Charles Switzer of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Bryant, is deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Reader Harold Fortney officiating. Burial will be in Cox Cemetery near Shannondale.--waw
