Lester F. "Bus" Hoaks, 67, of 13 Dale Ave., died at 12:35 this morning (Sept. 30, 1976) at Lakeview Medical Center, where he had been a patient since Sept. 20. Mr. Hoaks was a retired machinist for General Electric. He was born Dec. 8, 1908 in Danville to Phillip and Inez Taylor Hoaks. He married Thelma Palmer on July 30, 1928 in Crawfordsville, Ind. She survives. Also surviving are four sons, Lester of Passaic, N.J., Robert of Seymour, Ind., and Stanley and Melvin, both of Danville; two daughters, Mrs. Jesse (Doris) McHone and Mrs. John (Judy) Tomlinson, both of Danville; two brothers, James of Catlin and Ora of Boswell, Ind.; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.--waw
