Yesterday morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. Katherine Houlehan, Patrick Stanley Houlehan died after an illness of only about a week. He had been ill with stomach and kidney trouble but was not considered dangerously sick and his death, which occurred about 9 o'clock was totally unexpected. He was 12 years old and the son of the late William Houlehan. The funeral arrangements have not yet been made. =

Wednesday afternoon at precisely 1 o'clock in the auditorium of the Christian Church Mr. Bert LONG and Viola G. HICKS both of New Market were united in marriage. THe bride and groom entered the church and proceeded unattended to a position immediately in front of the pulpit where they were joined by the officiating clergyman, H. Randel Lookabill. The impressive ceremony which included the responses was performed in the presence of a few invited guests. Mr. Fred Grimes presided at the piano and played softly the Traumerel from Schuman during the ceremony. Upon the conclusion of the ceremony the newly married couple repaired to their carriage and were driving to New Market where they will be at home to their friends for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Long are excellent young people favorably known in New Market. Their many friends join in wishing them a full measure of happines..
