Orin Edward HOOKER, 58 resident of Paris, Illinois died Sunday morning Feb 12 at the Paris Hospital after a brief illness. He suffered a paralytic stroke late Saturday night. Mr. Hooker was the son of Henry and Eulalia Meeker Hooker. He is survived by his wife, Blanche; 3 children, Mrs. Paul Emmert of Waveland; Glen of Paris, Illinois and Ralph, basketball coach at Flora, Illinois; 3 grandchildren one sister, Mrs. Steve Blair of Terre Haute and two brothers, Warren of Charleston and Gene of Mobile, Ill. Mr. Hooker was employed with the PA RR for 17 years. He was affiliated with Prairie Lodge No. 77 AF & AM. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Bell Ridge Church with burial in the Grandview Cemetery near Paris. -- typed by kbz
