Rev AM Hook was found on the south bound Van train, on Monday morning in a state of dementia from some unknown cause.  RL Rusk telegraphed his friends and assisted in taking him to his home in Dana, where at last reports he had not entirely recovered.  He preached at Frankfort, Sunday and was seen by some of our people as he went north on Saturday when he seemed to be in his usual health. - typed by kbz

Rev. A.M. Hooke died at his home in Dana at four o'clock on Monday morning.  The body was taken to Maryville, Tenn, his boyhood home for burial.  Mr. Hooke was pastor of the Presbyterian Church here from 1891 to 1895.  His health failing, he moved to Bowling Green, Ky where he farmed for some years until in some measure restored he reentered the ministry and had charge of the Dana Church for two years. Then came the nervous collapse of last fall from which he never recovered all he rallied so far as to be able to preach one or two sermons before he was again stricken, this time with a fatal result. He leaves a wife and 5 children: Clark, Samuel, May, Wendell and Virginia. - typed by kbz
