William N. Hole, prominent resident of this county, died at his home six miles north of here on the Concord road at 12:50 p.m. Friday afternoon from a cerebral hemorrhage. He had been ill since January 2.

The deceased was born June 16, 187(?), near Young's Chapel, the son of David and Mary Hole. On July 23 he was united in marriage with Lola B. Hughes. He was a trustee and deacon of Young's Chapel church and a member of the National Detective Association. His parents died when he was nine years of age and he made his home with George Clouse until he was twenty-one years of age.

Surviving are his wife; two daughter, Mrs. Flossie Cummings and Mrs. George Vannette of here: three sons, Lester of near Union Chapel, Virgil, of near New Richmond, and Raymond at home. One sister, Mrs. Albert Vail, also survives, living near Cherry Grove. One daughter, Ruby, died in 1920. Five sisters and one brother are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home, in charge of Rev. Ora McDaniel of Advance and Rev. Samuel Smith of Ladoga. Burial at Young's Chapel.
