Plainfield – Funeral services were conducted here Tuesday for the Rev. Milo Hinckle, 82, a retired 52-year Friends Minister who died Sunday in Hendricks County Hospital at Danville after a short illness. He had been a Friends pastor 35 years (sic) a missionary in Jamaica for six years and an administrative church official 11 years. Church in Indiana that he had served include Farmland, Jonesboro, Upland and Lynn. His only survivor is his widow, Addie, a resident of a Danville Nursing Home. – kbz

Marshall, Ind – The Rev. Milo Hinckle, 82, died Sunday at the Hendricks County Hospital. He served 52 years in the ministry of the Friends Church until his retirement in 1956, 35 years in preaching 11 in superintendents’ work and 6 in mission work in Jamaica. He is survived by the widow, Addie Stancombe Hinckle, residing in the Golden Rule Nursing Home, Danville, Ind; a granddaughter, Mrs. Louise Stevenson, Greensboro, SC and two great grandchildren. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Friends Church in Plainfield with Rev. Norval Webb officiating. There will be graveside services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Amboy Cemetery in Amboy with Rev. Kenneth Pickering officiating. Friends may call at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman (quite odd but that’s what it said 😊)
