Daniel F. Hillard, 63, a resident of Crawfordsville practically his entire life, died at his home, 402 Lincoln Street about six o'clock Monday evening after an illness of two months with complications.
Mr. Hillard was born on October 10, 1864 at Darlington, son of Christy and Sarah Hillard, who came to this country from Ireland. In 1889 Mr. Hillard married Mary Sering. For many years Mr. Hillard was an employee of the Wire Mill here. He belonged to St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Three children preceded him in death while the following children survive: Harry Hillard of Kokomo; Mrs. Ora Jolley of Indianapolis; Walter Hillard of Neosho, Mo and Daniel Jr. at home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Burial will probably be made at the Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
