NANNIE GOSLIN HICKS

Word was received here on Thursday of the death of Mrs. Joseph A. Hicks in Pensacola, Fl. Mrs. Hicks was a great sufferer from rheumatism and she and her husband were making their home in the So. on that account. THe immediate cause of death was heart failure. The body was brought here and interred at Indian Creek cem. after funeral services at the Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Pierce of Anderson. Among the many beautiful floral offerings were those of the Ladies' Missionary Society of the Waveland Baptist Church, the MIssionary Society of the Anderson Baptist Church, the clerks in the store at W. Lebanon of which Harry English is manager and from friends at Pensacola. Nannie L. Goslin was b. Aug 4, 1872. She joined the Baptist Church at the age of 14 and lived an active Christian Life. She was marr. to Joseph A. Hicks Nov 10, 1891. She leaves a husband, father mother and sister and many friends. Those present from a distance werw: M/M Hunt and dau; M/M Hunica and dau; Mrs. Albee and Mrs. Doyel of Indianapolis; M/M Rice; Mrs. Foster; Dr. and Mrs. GT Williams and Mrs. Easley and daughter of Crawfordsville.
