Joseph A. Hicks, 71 a former resident of Waveland, died in Tallahassee, Florida on Wed. of last week. He was born near Browns valley. He married Miss Goslin who died leaving no children. After her death, he went to Pennsacola and afterwards to Tallahassee. in Pennescola he married again, the wife surviving with two sons and two daguthers. he was a barber by trade and at the time of his death was secretary of Tallahassee barbers association. A brother Shelby Hicks lives in Crawfordsville. Funeral and burial in Tallahassee Friday. - kbz
