Herman HICKS, 67, died at home in Rockville Feb 15, 1960. Unexpected death. Currently serving as Pres. Of Rockville Town Board. Previously served as trustee of Adams Twp 1943-1950; then Clerk of Parke Co 1951-58. Commander of Fellenzer Post, American Legion; member of Parke Lodge #8, F&AM; Presbyterian Church; active in affairs of Republican Party. Born in Montgomery County near Crawfordsville, moving to Salem where he remained for 11 years before Rockville in 1929. Mutual Produce Company, a poultry store, remaining in the business until late 30s when entered politics. The widow, Dorothy Hodge Hicks is only survivor. Buried Memory Garden.
