Foster L. Hicks, 75 of 110 Woodlawn Place, who retired in 1964 after 34 years of service with the Crawfordsville Electirc Light & Power Co died Sunday in Culver Hospital. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Montgomery Lodge 50 F&AM past commander of Comandery 2 and Athens Chapter OES. Born March 19, 1899, near North Salem, he was a son of Thomas and Margaret Spencer Hicks. He was married to Lula Shrewsbury Oct 3, 1923. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Shirley McQueen and granddaughter, Denise McQueen of Crawfordsville. A son and grandson are deceased. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Leland Brett officiating. Burial in North Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 today.
