-- Mrs. Alice May HIBBS well known Linden woman passed away at Culver Hospital here Monday morning after a brief illness. Her death occurred at 11:45 o'clock and followed an emergency operation performed at the hospital a few days ago. She had been in declining health for several months but her condition did not become serious until shortly before she was taken to the hospital. Born at Pine Grove, Kentucky March 31, 1881, she was the daughter of Felix and Addie Reesor and had been a resident of Linden 60 years. The husband, Daniel M. Hibbs passed away six years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul Gray of Linden; two sons, Quentin and Lloyd of Hammond and an aunt, Mrs. Will Owens of Linden and two grandchildren, Lloyd and Verna Gray. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. kbz
