Ladoga, May 1 -- Tuberculosis claimed the life of Mrs. Elizabeth HINES, who had been living with her mother, Mrs. Partha (sic- Martha) Pierson here yesterday afternoon at six. She was but 24 and leaves a small son, besides the young husband. She had been afflicted with the plague about a year. The young woman was born in Ladoga and spent nearly all her life here. Upon her marriage two years ago, she removed to Indianapolis with her husband and there the couple resided until the fatal attack of tuberculosis became serious about a year ago. She then returned to the home of her mother, hoping that she would find relief at her old home. She sank gradually until the end came Friday. The mother, one brother, Mason Summins (sic- Cummins) and a half-brother, James Pierson survive besides the immediate family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 at the home.
