William H. HICKS, aged 72 years a life long resident of this county died Thursday afternoon at 5 o'clock at his home 1 quarter of a mile west of Lapland, after an illness of more than two years. Death was caused by a complication of diseases and senility. Mr. H. was born near the place where he died, the son of Allen and Martha Hicks. He was a retired farmer. Deceased is survived by his widow, a sister, Mrs. LE Houk of this city; 3 brothers, Joe Hicks of Jacksonville, Fla; Thomas A. and Shelby T. Hicks, both of this city. Funeral services for William Hicks will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning form the home West of Lapland. Burial at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. - typed by kbz
