Thomas Hicks, passed away on Sat. at 12 o'clock at the home of his daughter, (Mrs. Ina Lydick) who resides 1 mi. So. of here) at the age of 80 years, 8 months and 15 days. He was the son of William and Lucinda Hicks. He had been an invalid for years his death was due to a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Hicks was b. and lived almost all his life on the farm where he died.
He is survived by his wife, one dau. and one grandchild and two great grandchildren, his parents and one sister preceded him in death.
The funeral occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ina Lydick on Mon forenoon at 10:30 and was conducted by Rev. Cornelius Airhart. Interm at Indian Hill Creek. -- typed by kbz
