Waynetown - Albert C. Henthorn 66, died at 7:43 p.m. Saturday in Carle Clinic at Urbana, Ill. He had been an auctioneer for 40 years, having cried sales throughout west central Indiana. He also owned the Albert Henthorn Insurance Agency since 1954. He was a member of the Prairie Chapel Congregational Christian Church. He was a 46-year member and past master of the Waynetown Maosnic Lodge, member of York Rite of Crawfordsville, the Waynetown Merchants Association and a former trustee of Cain Township in Fountain County. Born July 6, 1913 at Waynetown, he was a son of Edgar L. and Alta French Henthorn. He was graduated from Waynetown HS in 1932. He was married on June 2, 1935 to Mildred Lough who survives. Also surviving are his mother of Waynetown; two sons; C. Rex Henthorn of Crawfordsville and Thomas J. Henthorn of Waynetown; a daughter, Mrs. Lee (Rita) Kirkpatrick of Tallahassee, Fla; a brother, Carl S. Henthorn of Crawfordsville and six grandchildren. Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Dorman Winger officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Family will be at the funeral home to receive friends after 7 p.m. today and 3 pm. Tuesday. Masonic rites will be at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
