Wilbur A. Henry, 81, a retired farmer of the Waynetown area, died at 4:30 p.m. Friday in South Shore Hospital at Chicago. He had suffered a stroke last Saturday. He farmed in the Rossville, Ill area and for 30 years near Waynetown. Mr. Henry was a member nearly 50 years of the Masonic Lodge at Collison, Ill. A son of HIram A and Alice Wilber Henry, he was born Oct 28, 1889 in Potomac, Ill where he attended school. He was married Feb 26, 1913 to Nellie G. Dimmitt of Danville, Ill. She died April 18, 1965. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarice Smith of Chicago; 3 grandchildren, Raymond Sanders, Mrs. William Sanders and Mrs. Sharon Eckiord; two great grandchildren and a brother, Richard Henry of Champaign, Ill. A brother and sister are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here with Rev. Rob James officiating and burial in Potomac, Ill. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
