Lebanon - the funeral services of Delilah Elizabeth Hendrix who passed away at her home in Jefferson Twp at 10:55 Monday night will be held at the Shiloh Church at Advance at 2 Wed afternoon Rev WP Kibby officiating. The body will be interred at Old Union Cemetery. Mrs. Hendrix was born in this county March 6 1888 and was 28 years two months 16 days at time death called her. She had been ill since Feb death being due to organic heart trouble. Jan 10, 1914, she was united in marriage to Albert C. Hendrix, who with one brother, Harley Golliday and two sisters, Rosa Burris and Coria Smith survive her. She was a member of the Shiloh Church in Advance -- typed by kbz

Advance - Monday night at 11 Delilah E GOLLIDAY, wife of Albert A. HENDRIX, peacefully passed away at the family home NE Of town after an illness dating from February of this year. Delilah Elizabeth was the youngest daughter of James and Eva GOLLIDAY and was born March 6, 1888. With her parents she came to Advance from Illinois when a very small girl and practially all of her life had been spent in and near Advance. She has been since she was 10 afflicted at times quite severely but in spite of that, her life was characterized by brightness, sunshine and good cheer. Everyone was always greeted by her with a smile and a friendly word. More than two years ago she was married to Albert Hendrix and to this union was born a few months ago a baby daughter, Florence who only lived a very short time. The husband, parents, two sisters,Mrs. Ollie Smith and Mrs. Bruce Burris, one brother, Harley are the survivors of her immediate family. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 at the Christian Church where the deceased wa a member, the funeral sermon being by Rev. WP Kibbey, a former pastor. Shannondale News -- Word was received here this morning telling of the death of Mrs. Hendricks near Advance. She was a sister of Mrs. Bruce Burris of near here and a niece of Thomas and Daisy Youngs. -- typed by kbz
