James W. Hendricks, of Crawfordsville, a former resident of this vicinity a number of years ago, died Tuesday night after a long illness covering several months. He was 61 years old and leaves a wife and one daughter. He was a member of the Crawfordsville UB Church, IOOF Lodge and POS of A. Besides the wife and daughter, he is survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Mary E. Hendricks; four brothers and two sisters, Noble Hendricks of Danville, Ind; George, John and Al Hendricks of this place; Mrs. Florence Straub of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Willard Thompson south of town.
