Waynetown, Sept 13 – Milton Henderson, 73 years old, a former prominent resident of Waynetown died yesterday at Edmoore, Mich according to telegraphic advices received today by relatives here. Mr. Henderson was well known in local Masonic circles, infirmities of old age caused his death. Mr. Henderson was born in Parke County near Bloomingdale and was the son of Alec and Isabelle C. Henderson. When he was six years old, his family moved to a farm two miles south of Waynetown. Sixteen years ago, Mr. Henderson moved to Edmoore, where he remained until his death. He married Sarah McCombs in 1873. Seven children, who were born to the union survive. They are: Harry and Arthur Henderson, of Waynetown; Mrs. Lila Gate and Mrs. Isaiah Long of Edmoore, Mich; Mrs. Edith Whittaker and Floyd Henderson of North Dakota and Mrs. Maggie Utterback of Illinois. The body will be brought to Waynetown tomorrow and will be taken to the house of Mr. Henderson’s son, Harry. Funeral services will be held at the Waynetown ME Church Wednesday at 3 o’clock with Rev. Dr. Duncan officiating. Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
