Marvin Fay Heinold, 29, of 6 Eastgate Drive, Crawfordsville, died late Monday night at Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been rushed to the Indianapolis hospital Friday, May 15, after he became ill at his home. Cause of death is unknown. Mr. Heinold was manager of the Heinold Hog Market in Crawfordsville. He was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church and president of the church's board of trustees. Mr. Heinold was secretary of the Crawfordsville Lions Club. He was also a member of the Montgomery County Pork Producers Association and the county United Fund board of directors. Born Aug. 13, 1940, at LaCross, Ind., he was the son of Aaron and Emma Marti Heinold, who survive. He was a graduate of Kouts, Ind., High School and attended Purdue University. He was married June 9, 1965, at LaPorte, Ind., to Martha J. Turner. He was on active duty in the U.S. Army during 1964 and 1965. Survivors include the widow; two sons, Scott and Mike, at home; four brothers, Marshall Heinold of Peoria, Ill., twin brother, Melvin Heinold of Pierceton, Ind., Gene Heinold of Kouts and Glenn Heinold, serving in Vietnam and three sisters, Mrs. Don Bucher and Mrs. Art Mogler, both of LaCrosse, and Miss Emily Heinold of Kouts. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. Rev. Larimore Wickett will officiate. The body will lie in state one hour preceding services. Friends may call at the Powers Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Anyone desiring to make memorial dedications is requested by the family to make them to the cancer society.
