JAMESTOWN – Mrs. Edith A. Hedge, 62, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She had been ill for a week. A native of Boone County, she was born on Sept. 11, 1904, the a daughter of Hother and Mary Corney Ragsdale. She was married in 1920 to Dorval Hedge in Lebanon. Mrs. Hedge was a member of the Jamestown Christian Church. Surviving are the husband; two sons, Delbert Hedge of near Jamestown and Jimmy Hedge of Indianapolis; four daughters, Mrs. Thelma Wheat of Indianapolis, Mrs. Ethel Ross of near Lebanon, Mrs. Marjorie Henry and Mrs. Louise Benge, both of near Jamestown; three sisters, Vivian Ragsdale of Indianapolis, Ruth Hancock of Lizton and Maggie Menesee of Vincennes. She was preceded in death by a son and a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Jamestown Christian Church. Burial will be in the Jamestown IOOF Cemetery.
