JAMESTOWN – Ada M. Hedge, 90, of Jamestown died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Golden Manor Nursing Home at Ladoga. She was a member of the Jamestown Methodist Church and was past matron and a 50-year and charter member of the Jamestown OES. She also was a member of the Pythian Sisters. Mrs. Hedge was born near Jamestown on Sept. 9, 1883, a daughter of Marion and Harriet Cook Porter. She married Everett Hedge at Jamestown. Survivors include a son, Marion W. of Jamestown; a daughter, Mrs. Edna M. Sering of Brownsburg, six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Porter Funeral Home at North Salem with the Rev. Wayne Stein officiating. Burial will be in Jamestown IOOF Cemetery.
