Indianapolis services are set for Marine Lance Cpl. Robert D. Hazlett, 20, of 6139 E. 41st St., a native of Crawfordsville who was killed this month in the Vietnam conflict. The young man was killed July 17 in Quang Tri Province in South Vietnam. He was born April 8, 1948 to James and Helen Smiley Hazlett. The family lived the last 12 years in Indianapolis, where Robert was a 1966 graduate of Arlington High School. He was a member of the Friends Church at Spiceland. Funeral services are at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Harry W. Moore Chapel, 5811 E. 38th St., with graveside rites about 2:30 p.m. at Portland Mills Cemetery in Parke County. Surviving besides the parents are a brother, Larry, at home; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smiley of Judson and Mrs. Waneita Carrington of Russellville, and great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Clore of Marshall.   --waw
