Mellott – Mrs. Flora E. Haxton, 82, long time resident of Mellott died in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville at 10:30 p.m. Monday. She had been in failing health several months and a patient in the hospital two weeks. Born near here, she had lived in Mellott since she was 14 years old. She was first married in 1897 to Charles Royal of Mellott who died in 1924. Her second marriage in 1929 to Bert Haxton who died in 1934. She was a member of the New Antioch Christian Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frances Allen of Veedersburg, and a brother, Hurley Hibbs of Mellott
