Veedersburg – Freeman F. Hatch, 77, Rt 1, Veedersburg died at 6:05 a.m. March 12, 1954 at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He was born in Kingman Dec 31, 1916 the son of Walter and Dora Woodrow Hatch. He was married June 1945 in Covington to Eleanor McMasters. She survives. He was retired from Mid-States Corp in 1981. He was a member of the Veedersburg F&AM #491, the Wallace Low 12 and Rockville Low 12. His hobbies were gardening and yard work. Surviving besides the wife are two sons, Harold and Robert Hatch, both of Veedersburg; five sisters: Mary Blacketer, Kingman; Bernice Mitton, Veedersburg; Evelyn Gibbins, Crawfordsville; Della Wilson, Florida; Dorothy McKain, Anderson; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Dickerson Funeral Home., Veedersburg with Rev. Edwin Retter officiating. Burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. – kbz
