Mrs. Sarah Delphinia (Della) Harvey age 90 years and a former resident of Parke County for many years, passed away at her home at 2:30 p.m. on January 11, 1950. She had been in ill health for the last two months. Born Nov 20, 1859 in NC, she was the daughter of Alexander and Margaret Linthicum Jackson. She was married to Abram Harvey 3-11-1880. Mr. Harvey was a member of the Friends church. Other suvivors are a son: Fred L. of Kingman; a grandson, Clovys L.; a geat grandson Gene Paul, 3 brothers, Lindsey Jackson of Vernon, Ind; William Jackson of Veedersburg and Orth Jackson of Bloomington; and a daughter- in- law Mrs. Cora Harvey who cared for her during her illness. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon January 14 at the Rush Creek Church. Interment at Rush Creek Cemetery. The Woodrow Funeral Home was in charge with Rev Ruth Isaac officiating. - kz
