TANGIER ---- Mrs. Mary Etta Harvey, 88, a former Tangier resident, died Tuesday afternoon in the Parke County Nursing Home near Rockville. Prior to entering the nursing home she had resided at 417 N. College St., Rockville. A native of Rockville, she was born Oct. 22, 1878, a daughter of Daniel and Rose Etta Hendrix Norman. She married Edgar Harvey Sept. 7, 1902. Mr. Harvey died 12 days ago. She was a member of the Fairview EUB Church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Etta Graham of Rockville, Mrs. Bertha Bailey of Orange, Calif., and Mrs. Waneta Hoblit of Hawthorn, Calif.; a son, Loyd of rural Kingman; a sister, Mrs. Rose Hale of Brazil; three brothers, John Norman of Hillsdale, Grover Norman of rural Greencastle and Cecil of Attica and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Rockville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Etta Harvey, age 88, a former Tangier resident, mother of Loyd Harvey of Kingman Rt., and sister of Cecil Norman of Attica, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. Mrs. Harvey died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 14, at the Parke County Nursing Home near Rockville. Prior to entering the nursing home she had resided in Rockville. Mrs. Harvey was a native of Rockville and she was born Oct. 22, 1878, the daughter of Daniel and Rose Etta Hendrix Norman. She was married Sept. 7, 1902, to Edgar Harvey, who died 12 days before.
