KINGMAN — Alice Leoma Harvey, 78, Kingman, died at 7:50 a.m. May 31, 1999, at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Born June 30, 1920, in Bloomingdale, she was the daughter of James E. and Mable Barker Clark. She married James Isaac Harvey Nov. 25, 1940. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1985. She was a graduate of Bloomingdale High School and a member of the Freedom Christian Church, Eastern Star and Rebecca Lodge. Survivors include: sons, Vernon Lee Harvey, Crawfordsville, Donald F. Harvey, Veedersburg, Gerald Dean Harvey, Wallace, Jimmy D. Harvey, Kingman; daughter, Sandra Kay Atkins, New Castle; sister, Mildred Blacketer, Mulen, Idaho; 43 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; son Kenneth Ray Harvey; both parents; one sister; and one brother. Funeral services were 11 a.m., June 3 at Shoemaker Funeral Home in Waynetown with the Rev. Rodney Overpeck officiating. Visitation was 4-8 p.m., June 2. Burial was at Wolfcreek Cemetery in Wallace. – jlr
