Elbert G. Hartman, 53, of 1306 Kent Drive, died at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Culver Hospital. Mr. Hartman was a World War II army veteran. Born Sept. 3, 1923, at Burlington, Iowa, he was a son of Elbert and Wilma Burrell Hartman. He was married to Erna T. Gosswueiler in 1951 in Germany. She survives. Also surviving are his mother of Stronghurst, Ill.; two sons, Steve and Milton, both of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Harrison of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville, and Mrs. Kris Kinkead of Crawfordsville; a brother, Paul of Stronghurst; and a sister, Wanda Booton of Gladstone, Ill. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. The Rev. John Stacy will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.--waw
