New Market—Mrs. Julia Francis Hart, 86, Rt. 1, Ladoga, died at 7:20 p.m. Thursday in the Small Nursing Home at Waynetown. She had been in failing health for several years and a patient in the nursing home since 1961. She attended schools in Indiana and was a member of the Parkersburg Christian Church. Born Sept. 6, 1884, in Roanoke, Va., she was a daughter of Isaac and Martha Shaver Mangus. She was twice married. She was first married Sept. 27, 1906 to Frank Crow. He died in 1922. On March 5, 1924, she married William Hart. He died in 1938. Surviving are three sons, Frankie Crow of Rt. 1, Ladoga, Ernest Crow of Marshall, and LaVerne Hart of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Irene) Hester of Rt. 1, Ladoga, and Mrs. Mildred Cragun of Orem, Utah; two brothers, Hugh Mangus of Greencastle and Clyde Mangus of California; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Wildman and Mrs. Lillie Schowe, both of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Minnie Mangus of Greencastle; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Reeves Funeral Home at New Market. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. - kbz
