Waynetown - Mrs. Ocie June Harshbarger, 73, of Rt. 6 Crawfordsville died at 10 p.m. Wednesday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She suffered a stroke Sunday and was taken to the hospital Tuesday. She was born June 27, 1891 at Wingate to William Richard and Nettie Kathryn Jacobs. She married Walter Harshbarger of Crawfordsville June 22, 1909. She was a member of Liberty Chapel Church. She spent her entire life near New Richmond. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fay Shelton of Elmdale and Mrs. Barbara Kern of Rt. 2, Brookston; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, one half brother, Ray Sampson of Chicago; one half-sister, Mrs. Bertha Masters of Indianapolis; one great aunt and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1963. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Servies Funeral Home here. Rev. Guy E. Tremaine will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
