WAYNETOWN-- Mrs. Marie Cope Harshbarger, 70, of the Breaks community, died on her birthday anniversary at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday at Home Hospital in Lafayette. She had been a patient 2 1/2 months and had been ill since mid-July. She was born Sept. 29, 1894, to Seno W. and Forest L. Stine Cope. She married Grover Harshbarger Dec. 12, 1917, at her home. Mrs. Harshbarger was a member of the Liberty Methodist Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of that Church. She was educated at the Breaks school. She is survived by her husband; two sons, Warren and Richard Harshbarger, both of Rt. 6 Crawfordsville; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hesler and Mrs. Sarah Schuman, both of Crawfordsville, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. John R. Servies will officiate. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
