Ralph Harshbarger, 72, Rt. 4, Crawfordsville, died at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday at his home. Mr. Harshbarger was a retired farmer. He was born April 10, 1906, in Montgomery County, a son of Charles H. and Anna Belle Cowan Harshbarger. He had attended Breaks School. On Sept. 11, 1926, he was married to the former Ruth C. Johnston of Crawfordsville, who survives. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Lois J. Priest of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Carolyn Patton of Terre Haute, and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter; two brothers, Lloyd Harshbarger and Grover Harshbarger; and two sisters, Mae Olin and Ethel Patton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with the Rev. Joel Hutchison officiating. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
