Francis and  Charles McCarty to come and pray for him and God, for Christ's  sake heard his prayer and he became a member of the church of the  living God and many times during the remainder of his days, he  called upon God, speaking to him as his heavenly father and gave  his loved ones the assurance of his salvation, in many ways. His  soul took its flight of home, Dec. 22. He leaves a wife, two  sons, three grand daughters, two brothers and one sister besides  a host of relatives and friends to cherish his memory.
