Veedersburg - Roland J. Harrison (Jan 25 1900 - Nov 6, 1991), 91, of Danville, Ill died at 1:43 a.m. Wednesday at the United Samaritan Medical Center, Logan Campus. Mr. Harrison was a section foreman for the NY Central Railroad for 48 years, retiring in 1965. He was born Jan 25, 1900 at Newtown, Ind to Harry and Myrtle Ocheltree Harrison. He married Lucille Coleman Sept 21, 1918. She died Sept 3, 1984. Surviving are a son, Harry T. of Veedersburg; two sisters, Mabel Rogers and Ruth Myers both of Covington; four grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a sister and two brothers. Services are schedule for 2 p.m. Saturday in Parham-Shelby Funeral Home at Veedersburg with Rev. Richard Throckmorton officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
