LINDEN—Paul Irvin Harris, 35, former resident of New Richmond, died Wednesday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette, He had been ill several months and hospitalized two days. Born June 26, 1924, Mr. Harris was the son of James and Zella Alexander Harris. He was a World War II veteran and had returned to New Richmond recently to re-establish his residence there. The body was taken to the Helms Funeral Home in Linden. Arrangements for the services are incomplete.

LINDEN--Funeral services for Paul Irvin Harris, former resident of New Richmond, who died in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Helms Funeral Home at Linden. Burial will be made at the New Richmond Cemetery. Rev. John Charhiaras, pastor of the New Richmond Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home in Linden after 2 p.m. Friday. Mr. Harris was a member of the New Richmond Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include the wife, Mrs. Zelphia McDaniel Harris; the parents, two sons, William C. Harris of Indianapolis, and James Richard Harris of Louisiana; a daughter, Madelyn Lynn Harris, also of Louisiana; a brother, Lee Harris, in service with the U.S. Navy at Norfolk, Va., and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Shake of Fort Wayne.
