NEW ROSS – Mrs. Dorman (Beulah) Harris, 66, a native of Tippecanoe County, died early today in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville shortly after being admitted. Mrs. Harris worked on the Steering Committee for Culver Hospital Fair last year and served many years on other committees. She was a past matron of Order of Eastern Star at Jamestown, and a member of New Ross United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher many years. Born March 25, 1909, she was a daughter of Elmer and Della Gentles Jarvis. She married Dorman Harris on Sept. 29, 1929. He is a co-owner of New Ross Grain Co. Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Reeves of Newtown, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Bray of Russiaville; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Walker Funeral Home at Jamestown with the Rev. Victor Link officiating. Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday. – jlr
