Mrs. Stant Harris, age 77 died at the home of her niece, Mrs. Mary Newlin in Bloomingdale at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. Mrs. Harris resided here for many years until a year ago when she went to live with Mrs. Newlin. She had been in poor health for several years. She is survived by two step children, Capt. Barnett Harris and Mrs. Bessie Schweitzer of Farmersburg and the niece, Mrs. Newlin. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock at the Newlin home in Bloomingdale this afternoon. Mrs. Harris was a sister of the late Mrs. Leonard Acker and Aunt Sallie Smith. Mr. and Mrs. JO Rosebaum of Indianapolis and Mr. and Mrs. TN Johnson attended the funeral on Thursday of last week.
