ABRAHAM HARRINGTON

Abraham Harrington, 80 years old, a civil war veteran, died at the home of his grandson, AL Gard here Friday morning from a stroke of paralysis received a week ago. On December 5, Mr. Harrington was stricken with paralysis while eating dinner and never recovered from it. Mr. Harrington was born in Tippecanoe County December 25, 1838. He was a member of Co H, 40th Volunteer Infantry of the Civil War. He has made his home with his grandson here for some time. He is survived by one brother, James Harington and his grandson Mr. Gard. Funeral services were held from the residence here Sunday at 2 o'clock with Rev. Kennedy of Frankfort officiating. Interment was made in Frankfort cemetery. -- kbz
