Mrs. Stella Harriman, 77, of 416 North St., died at 6:10 a. m. Saturday in Culver Hospital. She was a member of the New Richmond Christian Church. Mrs. Harriman was born July 21, 1895, in Montgomery County, a daughter of David and Nettie Clarkson Whipple. She married Gordon Harriman in 1936. He preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Gale Edward of Norfolk, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Rita Jane Bailey of Crawfordsville; a sister, Elsie LaFoe of Crawfordsville; a brother, Virgil Whipple of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Elga and Raymond. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Paul Hubble officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday.
