Mrs. Sarah Ella Harrell, 82, widow of the late Rev. Aaron P. Harrell, Civil war veteran and prominent church official, died at 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Pogue, 412 west Pike street. She had been ill for three months with paralysis. Mrs. Harrell was born Jun 6, 1853, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of Ezekial and Louisa Apple Garrison. The early part of her married life was spent in Warren county, where her husband was a teacher and a lawyer. Later Mr. Harrell became associated with the ministry and moved to Crawfordsville, where he became superintendent of the southern district of the Free Methodist church, a position which he held for five successive terms. The Rev. Harrell also served in the Civil war. Since his death in 1920, the widow for many years had lived in this city with her daughter, with whom she was an inseparable companion. She was a member of the First Baptist church. Besides the daughter, Mrs. Pouge, other survivors are two brothers, O.C. Harrell, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Frank C. Harrell, of Tampa, Fla.; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Three children preceded her in death. The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Harrell will be conducted from the residence, 402 west Pike street, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. B.E. Antrobus, assisted by Rev. Ferguson of Attica. Burial in Oak Hill
