Veedersburg - James Albert Harper, 76, former employee of the Veedersburg Brick Company died Friday morning in his home here. He had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill the past month with a heart ailment. Born Dec 1, 1881, in Crawfordsville, Mr. Harper was the son of John and Eliza Fletcher Harper. He married Effie Morgan Sept 6, 1902. Survivors include the widow; four son, David and Gordon both of Crawfordsville; Blaine and Ross both of Veedersburg; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Veedersburg EUB Church with burial at Rockfield Cemetery. Rev. Samuel Pritchard will be officiating minister. Friends may call at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg. - kbz
